Bad cap will do that or your new rotor maybe bad seen a good number of new bad parts now days. Has it been wet in your area lately?? If it has been there is a good chance your cap is bad. I'd tell you how to check that but if I did then you would get mad. LOL. Just hold your hand on the cap if you jump 10 feet when you spin it over then you know for sure tha cap is bad. Yes it will in fact zap the crap out of you if the cap is bad. BTDT and learned the hard way many many years ago
