Well, now I know, to count the filler caps on the tops of the batteries!
As for the alternator, yes the tractor has the 282 diesel, but it also has an AC Delco alternator on it, and has the external regulator. As for the wiring harness, it looks pretty darn good, if someone cobbled it in, being that it has the factory type sleeve over the wiring.
I'm not saying anyone is wrong, but someone at sometime, took the time to add an alternator to this tractor, and did a professional job.
I've ordered a right side dash harness, to replace the spliced up area.
If I need another harness, They are on hand too. It is so much easier than trying to re wire it myself!
