Get out the parts books and study the differences between your Cub's motor and the ones supplied with (I think?!) an IH baler. There is a Cub Low Boy in Northwest NJ with that mod that mows grass all day long in third gear. Regarding your "turbo" idea, if you add air, you are going to have to add fuel. Keep in mind that you will be pressurizing the carb, which is pretty tricky business. A larger supply line, electric fuel pump, and larger jets will be necessary to pressurize the fuel system and deliver extra fuel. Your fuel pressure will need to be higher than your boosted air pressure.
While it might be fun to "boost" a cub, a job like that is gonna make a real mechanic out of you and might result in an expensive explosion during the process.
I'll see if I can nail down the model of the donor parts machine and post it tomorrow.
