You can change the primary reduction gear and clutch gear to slow the tractor down.Drawbar changes won't help enough until you spin out. Easy mod with gears form an A with a single lever gear shift. Second remove the cap from the air intake stack,grind off rivets,and look down it with a bright light. If there is mud in the bottom this will reduce your air intake,offsetting the piston help.Also remove the screen mesh from the oil bath assembly to improve air flow. Use a dyno to max the HP with load and idle jets on the carb. If yours is a fuel burner(two gas caps),change to a gas carburator and manifold. Until you know the HP from a dyno,you could have several issues. I won DIV1 5000 and 5500 in our club in 2011 with the above changes and pulled in 1st gear 90% of the time. Good Luck!
