"Are they still pulling at E Town. At the rate they where going they may get done buy Monday.Had to be the worst pull ever."

Walt-I was there from 10am until the last hot tractor class ran. Antiques finished 10pm or so local time. If you had a problem or concern that caused you to utter the above quote, you should have told me first to see if I could get whatever was wrong corrected as I was acting as a go-between on that track, even though the only dog I had in the hunt was offering added money and the other "perks" Ive discussed here and am currently working on. YES, there were problems--first off the PA system was late to the track for example, but the classes were completed in what I thought was a reasonable time for the first time--first time--that something like this was done for both the promoter (first time this gentleman had ever promoted a pull) and sanctioning body. They want the antiques back next year, and I took notes on how it could've run better.

Bottom line is that this was for a worthy cause, and at every turn where there was a problem or issue I was aware of, I worked to make the appropriate change if it could be made in a fair manner.

I want to thank every puller for coming out and if I didn't personally thank you for coming while we were there I apologize. Thanks to Kevin for his sled work and I'd love to see us gather there again next year, with some changes that will make it better for everyone involved. I'll have photos up in the next couple days.
