Went to a small tractor show this weekend and a man there had a 1026 Gold. He said he saw a 1026 advertised and seeing as not many were made, he bought it. Some time later, a few spots of the red started flaking off showing gold under. He was not familiar with the gold demonstrators at the time. He told a friend about the strange primer color and the friend got excited, telling him about the history of them. He stripped it and it had the gold in all the right places so he painted it back as it was at first.
