We just helped restore a 1948 LongA for our son. A lot of the parts can be purchased through IH dealer as this tractor was patterned after a IH-H.We didn't replace the spring but had a time getting the lights as they were 6V sealed beam. We did find them and made a couple of other things we needed. He has the complete history and all about the Long A. You can contact him at RHaafke@aol.com. He knows how many there are in the US, how many they made, and where they are.
