For anyone interested, I am doing a run of Rock Island Plow Co tractor decals. I was told by Lyles wife that I got one of the last sets of his, and they are showing their age. Since we needed more than a couple of sets I am now working with a place to have some new ones made of vinyl. besides that, we are redoing the F/FA side panel badge off of an original NOS panel with nicely intact badge. The scroll work will change a little in how the coloring is distributed, the big thing though is the lettering will be gold and the background will be the original red to match the other badges. The gas tank and fender badges will be tweaked a little as well in coloring to match up.
If I can commit to a little larger order than what we need for ourselves, there is a significant price break so I am wondering if anyone has an interest in these decals. I don't mind keeping a few on hand to sell later on, but the big question is how many side panel badges to order.
if I can get the price break prices will be:
3 piece set (tank, two fenders for G and H series) $35 + shipping
5 piece set (tank, two fenders, two side panels for F&FA) $55+ shipping
2 side panel decals only $10 + shipping.
They will also being doing a set of radiator model decals if anyone is really interested (G-2, F, FA etc).
Time frame is they should be ready no later than mid july, hopefully a lot earlier, but there is some heavy editing work required. I will have them at the Geneseo show this fall where Rock Island will be part of the Lessor Knowns feature, and will be visiting other shows that I might be able to drop off a set (Portland, Mt pleasant, Sandwich, Sycamore, possibly Baraboo and Edgerton all come to mind) to save a couple of bucks on shipping.

Today's Featured Article - What Oil Should I Use? - by Francis Robinson. I keep seein this question pop up over and over again in discussion groups all over the web. As with many things there are often several right answers and a few wrong ones. Some purist I'm sure will disagree to no end with what I will tell you but most of us out here in the real world don't really care do we ? Some of them only bring their noses down out of the air long enough to look down them anyway. If you are like me you are only doing this old tractor stuff because you enjoy it. You
