My Great, Great Grandfather - John H. Fitch - was the inventor of the FITCH Four Drive Tractor. I have extensive research info (photos, articles, brochures, specifications, logos, etc.) on the tractors produced by Four Drive Tractor Company of Big Rapids, MI from 1916 to 1930. I am looking for additional information (mostly photos) to include in a biography and future website on John Fitch, the Four Drive Tractor Company and those tractors that are still inexistance today. Please email with information that you would like to submit. I currently know where 5 tractors are located with only 2 in the US - one in Aberdeen, WA and another in Rodney, MI. There is one on display at a rural museum in Australia. There are 2 in New Zeland - one on display in a museum and one in Feilding. Supposedly, there is one in California and possibly one on a farm in the Albany/Schenectady, NY area. Please email me if you have questions, comments or would like to obtain additional information.
