Thanks Mike,Yeah I found out mine is a 73 also. The only thing wrong with mine is the gearbox is leaking also. I packed the gears with grease and added aliitle gear oil and it is doing fine. These were really made well they don't make them like this anymore. Lawnboy bought out Gilson and some parts are still available. I'm missing the reverse belt but I seem to get by well without it. Thanks for the reply. If you find that manual I would appreciate a copy of it. Brian McCracken Bristol, Virginia.
