No additive is no longer available. I am wondering what the publication number of your manual is. I left the dealership in 1976 and we were used 80-90 gear oil at that time and had been for a few years. Don't forget there is more than one drain plug if you are changing it. Just get a 5 gallon bucket full because it takes most of it. I would also change the hydraulic filter and the oil at least once a year. A good 10W-30 API class oil for a gas engine will work in the hydraulic. so if that is the oil you use in the engine you can also use it in the hydraulic system. Questions?
