If your tractor is tore down that far, loosen and remove all 4 engine bolts. Then stick all 4 bolts back in holes with the threads down. Attach a chain to gas tank mount on the rear of the engine block and raise your engine on the back which will tilt your engine forward which will raise the rear engine 2 or 3 inches upward. Please remember before you do any of this make sure the coupler on the driveshaft is loosened or removed and slid forward. This works for me every time!
