Scott, I disagree.I paid $5,000 for a similar 1950 3 years ago at a farm sale 300 miles away and felt like I got a good buy.I've used it in the field for 3 years now with no problems.Someone has already had the smarts to bid on the one on ebay.Its a $5000-6000 tractor in my area simply because only a few are left and absoluetly no one wants to sell. An opening price of $4500 with no reserve is fair.You know its going to sell.I'd lots rather see one like this than one starting at$1,000 and having a reserve.I'm sure not going to start a nice 1950 like this at $1000 with no reserve. 6 years ago I was at a farm sale and saw a rough FWA 1950 bring $7,000 and they had to pull it to start it.Now that was crazy.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
