Well finally got back on that 70 that started knocking after I got it all painted up. I asked if timing cover would come off without pulling engine, well it will. You have to make sure the front mounting stud comes out. Front pulley and everything clears without lifting engine. Only thing that would cause problems is if you are installing cam shaft with cam gear on. So glad this nightmare is done! Who would of though!
