I pull a 10' John deere with impellers. In heavy hay the tractor smokes hard the hole time, and 4th gear is a struggle. Also some chisel plowing with 7 shanks. The 1855 is nice because it is not too big to rake hay, pull wagons, or any other job. Has been rebuilt with updates, and has oil cooler, but still makes me nervous. I have never been around a 2255, but was thinking if it wasn't too big for the small jobs, it would have plenty of power for the harder jobs. Josh
