Mine also is on the front right side. Do you have a part # stamped on your bock? Mine has D600 A619 stamped on it. I am using the serial number off the plate on the motor as ID. That shows the engine to be from a '47 model 70. So, even if the tractor is a different year or model it wouldn't make any difference. Also, it looks just like all the pictures of a '47 model 70. The serial # makes it a very late in the year model. Wondering if Oliver could have run out of one motor and switched to something else to finish out the year.
