What's the market like for a parts/restoration candidate tractor? I picked up what I'm pretty sure is a late 20's (sn 25688) model 'W' (based on 3 lower track rollers and general design) project tractor this weekend. Supposedly it was running some ~20 years ago but had some sort of a problem with the left final drive (guy says bearing but I'm not sure) so the track and final drive was removed for repair and it never got put back together. Looks like it's pretty much complete and in reasonable shape, though the steering wheel is busted and the magneto cover and plug wires are missing.
Originally I was thinking of trying to get it running but I don't think I have the time or money at the moment so I'm looking to sell it - what's a reasonable price for this thing, and any ideas on where to advertize it?
