I think the 40k days are over. I would say that 20-25k is closer in today"s market. I have several Oliver orchard project tractors and you cannot pay much for them in the "raw", because generally your not buying much more than a serial number tag. The sheet metal is available aftermarket but it does not fit very well so be prepared for a long long road if you want one nice. Also it is near impossible to do this kind of job for a profit.
