O. K. I looked quick like at lunch toady. If you read page 1 of the general information section of the Oliver 80 shop manual it mentions 3 major changes that were incorporated when the 80 Rowcrop models were introduced. Change one was the larger bore engines + the H C. engine. Change #2 was the change to the variable speed governor. Change #3 was the increased size of the rear axle from the 18-27 and it gave the size, but I didn't write it down. On page 3 of the general information section it mentioned that if you need the cones for the rear wheels for a Rowcrop use B-704C which would be a part first released for a model 70 tractor. Part 2 The first 80 rowcrop was serial number 109152. The axles and bearings starting with that serial number are different than on a rowcrop tractor. Those axles and bearings were also used till the last model 80 rowcrop was built. Does that help? If you want this in print I will need your snail mail address.
