My 58 Cockshutt 570 came with a Military 298 on it when I bought it. You can use the rear mounting plate and flywheel from the tractor engine and bolt it right to the block, same style of rear main seal. This tractor now has the newer 3400 series engine which I would also recommend as a replacement. Again, all your tractor hardware will bolt right up. Hercules Engine Components website lists all the applications that these came in.
