Saw this old thread while doing some searching on Oliver 80s.
I have a 47 Oliver 80 RC that needs to find a new home. It needs a lot of TLC and at least one new 40 inch tire
I have simply run out of time to bring it back to life. I got it running fine and then the oil pump gave out and some of the bearings are rattling. Since they are babbitt with shims, I think it could be repaired (also have parts to repair it if a simple reshim does not do the job.
I simply can't let it go to the scrap yard. It served me well for several years and deserves to be re-born.
Edit: I am new here and can't seem to get my signature to stay in my profile. For the time being, I will type it each time I post.
