I have an 88 we are re-building the engine on.. Head has been at the shop for over 2 months. I gathered up the new valves for it. The guy who owns the shop said it needed new seats for the valves and he would get them. He has supposedly ordered 3 different sets of seats, and has yet to get the correct ones. This shop has been re-building engines for over 50 years
My quetions is----Are these seats special?? If I hustled up the seats from somewhere else, could he install them for me with his equipment??
