'Do you have poured rods or insert type rods'? You got me there. This is an engine that was rebuilt, than ran 3 years and threw a rod. It was stuck when I got it. I just freed it up. Block looks good. Crank looks good. I'm (foolishly) thinking of putting a new rod in it and going with it. If crank is within tolerance I don't see why not. That would give me a chance atleast to check out anything else on the tractor to see if its worth sinking the money into it. The guy I got it from said it never knocked. Looks like the rod bolt just broke. It don't look like the rod hit the bearing area when it did. I know the best thing to do is to pull it out and go thru it. It is in an Oliver Cletrac HG68
