Just some backgroud before I rant. I have a toy tractor workshop in my basement. It is colder down there than upstairs. I have more trouble with Agco brand spray paint than I do any other-cheap or expensive. The worst has been the White combine red. It sprays out in small globs instead of a fine spray. I have changed spray tips, cleaned spray tips, adjusted spray tips, took it upstairs to get warm, just about everything I can think of. It won't bleed together and leaves a severe orange peel finish. The green and silver paints are better but not great. The only thing worse I have used is Rural King Magic Brand paint. Almost acts like there is not enough pressure in the can to create a fine mist. Could it be old paint? I bought it last winter but who knows how old it really is. John Deere and CaseIH paints spray much better that any Agco paint I have been using-even in a cold basement. Even the $2.00 Touch 'n Tone sprays a much nicer finish that the Agco stuff.
I am not a rookie with spray cans. I have done a lot and had some nice results but I am about at the end of my rope on this one. Anybody having the same problems?
