I'm catching up on my Oliver Discussion Board, and saw your post. Looked in my old Oliver owners book. The only picture shows a hammock seat, a couple illistrations also show the hammock seat, I assume that would be standard equipment, although the coushion seat could have been used as an option. The ridemaster seat came later than your '44 model. According to Lyle Dumont's paint numbers the Oliver 70 Rowcrop and Standard were painted with Martin Senour Paint #99L-8748 which would be a dark green. In case you need a canvas for a hammock seat I have some made from an origional pattern, they are made from a water holding canvass, as the canvass shop makes them from the same mataerial as the water buckets used by the Civil War enactors. Hope this helps. Delbert
