Hello, I could be wrong on this but I think the bearings in a 550 steering box are "barrel" roller bearings. they look like standard tapered roller bearings but they are not.I don't think you can get the bearings anymore. I helped a guy fix one years ago we had to do some machining and put standard bearings in it. good luck Ed
