I have tried a chain, agree that it relieves a lot of stress.

There was a swivel mount made for these that tried to do the same

thing, might be nice to find one day, but I only use it once in a while.

That based on how much I used my old Woods.

Jerry, yes, I want to paint the tractor back to it's original red soon.

It won't happen this year, too many other projects and it's still

my go to tractor for anything requiring a PTO!

I did take the slip clutch apart before painting to make sure it's not froze.

I should take it apart again now just to make sure.

Not much to it on this one, just a matter of a few minutes.

Jim, the back wheel in the book shows a hard rubber tire on the

outside of a steel wheel like this one.

I can't see any way to mount one on this wheel and it wouldn't

clear the wheel carrier anyway! I think it will outlast me! :)

Colin, paint it! Helps keep it from rusting even if it's not pretty.

That was my goal here. I want to use it and not let it rust.
