Chad.........congratulatons, you have the braggin' rights to 1947 2N. ALL 2N's s/n start with 9N. (ittza Ford thing) Surprizingly enuff, ALMOST ALL 2N parts start with 9N.
The ONLY thing you really haffta remember is when you have weak sparkies, you un-snapple the capple and 2-bolts and walk to the house and change the points (0.015") on the kitchen table. When points are done (0.015"), take yer 2-bolts and gently re-start them in the block. Now install yer ROTOR and rotate yer OFFSET rotor tang drive to fit the OFFSET camshaft drive slot. Now tighten yer 2-bolts and re-snapple yer capple. Simple, eh?
Remember to "polish" the INVISIBLE CORROSION from between the points (0.015") after installation. Me? I clamp a clean $1-bill between the points (0.015") and pull. Iff' yer really cheap, tear a strip from HEAVY brown paper grocery sack and use that. ........HTH, Dell, yer self-appointed sparkie-meister
