OK. I have both KK tools and my bush-hog is a 4ft JD-400 had it over 25 years it owes me nothing. I wish it was a 5 footer and I don't see an N having any trouble with a 5 ft. Now I got to ask how did you beat up this hog so bad? Were you using a graded bolt and not a shear bolt on the shaft? If you hit a stump and no shear bolt it a death sentence. Now the KK is my choice cause its made in the USA, at least mine are. I bet the Deere is all import parts and assembled here.My Deere was old stock USA The Flag Waving LB.
