I had one of these front blades many years ago that we bought new, so I know what it should look like and how it worked before modification or damage. The "cross-bar" you have is correct; when new it did not seem to be straight! I never understood why it was bent in the shape it was, either. The lift arms, through which the cross bar connects, should be parallel. Either your right one is bent upward or left is bent downward.....you decide and straighten the assembly where-ever it is bent out of shape. Once you straighten that, the tractor lift arms should be adjusted to parallel also, to pull equally upward on the blade lift arms that pull on the cables.
