Tom.........understand where yer cummin' from. I picked up a folding 6-incher with "notches" near the handle off'n a peg at the hardware store. (it was "cheap" and could afford to loose it) I sharpened the "blade" part with mill-file. I use it everywhere, cuttin' bailin' string and wild rose stems. I have a multi-blade Leatherman with very sharp common blade. I used to carry a 2-blade Kersaw with folding fingernail scissors; gott loaned out and never came back. (frown) My Sunday-go-meeting knife is custom made engraved folder that my wife ordered outta the back of an airlines magazine. Super edge. I also have a 3-hone knife sharpener. Best honing oil is "gun-slick" in little toothpaste tube. I also have a "diamond" whetstone that I use on my 6"-folder. Which reminds me, gotta find my 6"-hunting knife, I know where my 12"-Bowie knife is. All I know is I gotta carry a knife (3-blade Buck) in my left pocket to balance out my keys in right pocket, otherwize I walk lop-sided. Remember, them 9-11 terrorists used cheap sliding box cutters. ........Dell, with engraved Wilkinson sword on wall
