Forum Members, I have noticed the right front tire on my '47 8N runs very close to the axle extension. The left tire has a spacing of about 3/4 inch. The right side is about 1/4 inch away from the axle extension. Have also noticed the left hub is spaced out about 3/8 of an inch from the spindle assembly. The right hub is just about touching the spindle assembly. Is this a seal, wheel bearing, or worn spindle problem? Is there a minimum spindle diameter that should be present so this does not happen? I could check that. Not sure how to check for worn bearings. The wheel spins on the axle smoothly. Hope this was explained correctly. Any help is appreciated! Mr. T. Minnesota
