$600 for one is, indeed, unusual..kudos to the seller..I bought one from Clist last year for $80 and sold another on Fleabay for $260 plus shipping....saw others for sale for $50 more than once.
IMO, the jacks are collectors pieces,fun to have and show, but I would never use one for doing any serious work on the tractor. It is much easier sliding a floor jack under it and much safer blocking up the tractor.
That being said, if I were looking for one to add to the collection, and given a choice at the same price, would rather buy an original than a repro....
