As with any thing to do with electricity there is a lot of theory and due to that many many many factors come into do the same thing you did today and it kills you. lay as to what will kill one person and then the next does the same thing and not get hurt. The condition of a persons heart and other such things come into play as to what may or may not kill you today but then tomorrow you goof and so the reason I say what I do is because in theory a car/truck/tractor battery could kill you will it not likely unless conditions are just right and one never knows when that condition is right or wrong so why take the chance. By the way I spent years working on electrical stuff and have been shocked many many times and I am still alive but I have been lucky
