After two weeks of waiting for my local New Holland dealer to get my fan in I'll be ready to install the new water pump and fan tomorrow. I was able to remove them as one unit - mostly out of necessity because one of the four fan bolts was rounded off. Fortunately there was just enough clearance to ease the fan/pump combo out of there.
So, is there any reason why I shouldn't do the same thing when reinstalling?
Attach the fan to the pump then attach to the tractor as one unit? Seems like it would make bolting the fan to the pump a lot easier.
I'm hoping the new fan will come with the bolts. I only have three of the four old ones available for reuse.
