That's what I'm doing. I found some plug and play kits that plug directly into the factory harness, and simply "T" off between the truck harness and standard receiver hitch light plug but they want $135 for it at the autoparts store or as low as $60 online, but I can set up my own to the same quality for about $40 by simply purchasing the components. I was going to put it up in front of the fender, as rustyfarmall mentioned, but looking at it last night, I think I'm going to locate it in the far back corner and as close to the bedrail as possible where it will be protected by the stake pocket because I have a toolbox in the bed and am afraid it will get tore up sliding objects over the fenders and under the toolbox (plywood, etc.). I'll post pictures of the finished product when I get it all done...whenever time may arise for that to happen, hopefully this weekend.
