$500 is realistic. A guy should easily do the job in a day. More like half a day if you are competent wrench. $200 for parts also adds a little padding to the job. If you are in or near the Twin Cities I would do it for that. Plus pickup and delivery or you deliver. I'll crowd you for a little more and sell you for a front seal in the tranny/Sherman too. Hokie is correct. Block the front half of the tractor and roll the rear half away. Easier.
