I have a 9n with slipping ring gear. ring gear is two years old and was hot mounted. Now it is slipping-motor got hot and ring gear expanded.
can it be welded on through the starter hole?
Anyone have a picture of what it should look like?
My ring gear has flange facing forward. Hard to get at flywhool and impossible to weld. Any chance my repair guy put eh flange on backwards OR reversed the flywheel and put the flange facing front?
I don"t want to have to split it but it just spins the ring gear and flywheels moves a litle by pressure and friction.
