Probably does not matter
Myself I put together my own kit tailored to my satisfaction,,, cost a little more
I do have a store brought kit in stock,,, its a combination of grab parts and throw it in a box and call it a kit
Problem is its just that,,, parts slung together that don't match,,, cheap but cheap sells ,,, all kits mite not B the same,,, dunno I have only brought one kit in a box and its junk,,, I did have the option of sending back the incorrect parts,,, I doubt you would
Theirs no doubt 12v is better than 6V,,, you get more for the same amount of work,,, that is if you come up with the rite combination
In my tailored set up I use some 6V parts,,, depends on the application
