I just rebuilt my hydraulic. I don't think I would jump to the conclusion that the slow lift is because of the hydraulic oil. Take a look at the archives on this Board and look for Zane's procedure to diagnose problems with the hydraulics. Follow that procedure and it may be determined that a $35 oil change isn't the answer. I don't disagree about the recomended #134 oil, but my NH dealer is now recomending 85-90 weight, api serv. grade 1, on all of the older N's, and in fact 85-90 works better on mine than the #134 when the oil gets hot. Good advice on the 3/4" plug first ! My $.02
