rule of thumb is-do not pay any more for something than what you can sell it for regardless of it's value. Two things- the price sounds O.K., the 8 & 9 N's are about the cheapest to fix up. Cheap is-you can drop $900 in the motor fast plus exterior engine componits, $350 in the trans (for bearings and labor only) $240 for a new radiator, $130 for a new governer, $180 for a new carb, $350 for a new gas tank, maybe $1500 when you start messing with the rear-end the hydrallics and the 3-point lift, plus all the other little things that you will encounter plus your labor plus $450 for rear tires and $150 for frount tires plus maybe new rims and what ever cosmetic problems you might have. I think that I got my point across.
