seen those prices around here too.... in the 'burbs, i see the people with the 1/3 acre lots buying the 18 hp riding mowers, hydrostatic drive, etc. kind of overkill don't you think? ('course when i had a 3/4 acre lot a few years back i was mowing it with the ford and 6' finish mower, but that's different...) as for the dog, one of mine, the goofy one, is scared to death of just about anything in the house including the kitchen floor, i guess because it's slick. but outdoors... he'll lay down in front of the tractor, chase the car, etc. and to top it off.... caught him venturing out to the middle of the frozen lake to retrieve a stick. but don't get him near a kitchen floor. go figure. still wouldn't trade him or the ford for the mowers the store is selling.
