am posting this for a mechanic that is working on my Moline.
Problem: Power Steering is not working.
What has checked out OK:
The pump on the front - drivers side is OK, it has good pressure. The front cylinder that actually moves from side to side is OK.
So he tried to replace a valve that is in the front thinking that was the problem - but it made no difference.
What he has found is that it won"t build pressure unless you hit a remote lever with nothing on it. Then the pressure goes from 300 pounds to 900 pounds.
So he is stumped. I told him I would post here in case anyone had run across this situation and has an idea on what to check next.
