Here's a list I made last year of Mo. shows. This has my personal observations, you mightn ot pay too much attention to those; OK Steam Threshers Pawnee OK. May 3-4-5 2013 Pawnee OK. Steam & Gas Engine Show Great show, good food, lots of parts trailers, 3 days full of activities, look at handout schedule. Call Pecan Grove Motel 918-762-3061 a month or two in advance, or more May have to drive south on Hwy. 18-S, 22 miles, and stay at one of 3 motels in Charlton or Cheswick or Clinton or whatever it was. 3 very nice motels, but full.
Boonville Mo. Mo. River Valley Steam Engine Days September 6/7/8/9, 2012 Did not go 2012.
Republic Mo. Ozark Steam Engine Days September 13/14/15/16, 2012 Excellent show, lots of tractors, steam engines, etc.
Chilhowee Mo. IH Days September 21/22/23, 2012 Lots of tractors, no flea market, did have the IH museum trailer, sold many IH items, lots of demonstrations, had sorghum making, apple butter making, blacksmithing, OK food.
Nat’l. Ag. Center & Hall of Fame Museum, Bonner Springs Mo. Open All Year Round (Also Moon Marbles) OK, had a good actual indoor museum, with Farmalls, others, same town as Moon Marbles.
Fort Scott KS. 56th Pioneer Harvest Fiesta September 27/28/29/30, 2012 (Parade 27th @ 6:00) Great tractor parade, great flea market, stayed in downtown corner hotel, lots of flea markets, attended the naturalization ceremonies, pretty moving and meaningful.
Fair Grove Mo. Festival (big one) September 28/29/30 Have not gone yet.
Springfield Mo. Ozark Farm Fest October 5/6/7 F/S/S, 2012 Did not go 2012.
Nevada MO. 2nd IH Antique Show October 5/6. 2012 A few filthy dirty H’s, one very nice M with stainless muffler, lots of IH trucks, cold and windy.
Corning ARK. 25th Harvest Festival October 26/27, 2012 Did not go 2012. Is in the boot-heel.
