I haven't heard of anyone doing it. I would think it would be expensive to have it done, since it would take a major design change. Also, so few people are running a MM Diesel for performance, it would be a tough sell since they have an unfortunate(but true) reputation for being a dog. I do know of a few guys who have taken stock heads and machined them and converted them to direct injection, however. And in case you're wondering, no that information is not being shared-only because these guys have spent way too much time and money on it to just give that away. With that being said, yes, direct injection would (and does) really wake them up. If there were reasonably priced recast heads with direct injection, I'd be in line for about 4 of them... LOL...but I also hear a properly built MM diesel can be competitive...

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
