Will restate that a little better. Made two gaskets for each side of the axle housing caps out of real thin gasket material. Used the steel shims and both paper gaskets. To much end play. Took out one paper gasket and still slight end play so used steel shims and permatex Indian Head gasket sealer (might not need to ) and seemed to have proper gear lash and no end play on axle.
