Guys,I'm glad now that I didnt get the 40 Cockshutt..Otherwise this nice GVI would be gone forever..I think that it probably had been overhauled...It has Agco oil filters on it so its been run in modern times..
This year I've been to 5 sales with lots of old tractors..The scrappers have been getting way too many of them..Theres also been more sales with MM tractors than I can ever remember..I think heres the reasons collectors arent getting them..
1-Theres lots fewer collectors in my area than there used to be..
2-With high fuel prices it costs so much to haul them any distance..It cost me $120 just in fuel for a 260 mile round trip on the GVI..
3-Tires cost so much..
4-It costs a fortune to rebuild an engine if they dont run..
