I have a chance to purchase a 1976 MF70 industrial tractor loader/ backhoe. The machine is in fair shape, it runs well, has hydrostatic trans, pins and bushings in the hoe are good and it doesn't seem to have any welds anywhere but the bucket. problem, the machine has no brakes, what kind of job am I looking at? The problem with the brakes is the brake bands, I have changed the steering brakes on a JD450 is the same kind of deal? The machine is powered by a 3 cyl perkins diesel and has a full heated cab, they want $7,500.00 for the machine, would this be a good buy? Thanks for the help McI
