My 40b's steering cylinders are wore out. Leaking and the tie rod ends on the end of the ram are wore to the point where they are gonna fall off. Called my local massey dealer and they told me a complete cylinder was $1900, each! So, I asked him about a ram and seal kit. $650 for the ram! The seal kit was only $20 though. Do they really sell any of these? I figure the tractor is only worth $7000+/-. I found some after market ones for $350 each, which is bad enough, but doable. Hopefully they work when they get here.
