I have a MF1100 that I recently bought and have a couple of questions about it. The steering unit leaks on top where the welch/expansion plug is. I got a new plug and had a hard time removing the old. How do you recommend that I install the new one? The IT manual states to use Brown Loctite, I"m not familiar with that.
My main problem is with the Multi-power not working. The seat does not rise ether but does show slight movement. The brakes and steering work as well as the 3pt. I suspect a problem with the charge pump. I put a gauge at the low volume port and have 100psi instead of 225psi. I did not test the sensing port yet, I need to get the right adapter for that. I drained the fluid and pulled the sump filter and found that full of junk. maybe that was the problem but I wouldn"t think it that easy. Need to put the steering back together to find out. The question I have is that I found that the unloader valve does not have the pull ring on it and it is pushed flush with the cap. Would this effect anything?
